My father would have been 84 today. Claire and I agree that we inherited our nerdiness, desire to plan and quick walking from him.
My love of maps comes from the years he worked for the Canadian Hydrographic Service and for many years I wanted to be a map maker. I feel dirty if I don’t add geolocation info to my photos on Flickr and Pinwheel’s mappiness is a warm embrace.
And my crazy laugh? That’s all him as well.
